🥇 A Day in the Gargano Peninsula, Italy by
Hello friends. Today I’m recommending a one-day travel itinerary: the Gargano Peninsula. This is an isolated mountainous area located in the Foggia province, in the Apulia region of southeastern Italy and it’s one of the most interesting and beautiful places in the country. I visited Gargano in May 2024, repeating a route I took with friends last year. I started my journey from Bari in the morning, traveled to San Giovanni Rotondo, then to Monte Sant’Angelo and finally returned to Bari. It was a challenging trip because part of the journey in and out of Gargano involves mountain roads. My goodness, the views are stunning. Sitting in the passenger seat and watching the mountains, the sea, the greenery and the blue sky is incredible, but if you’re the driver it’s hard to enjoy the scenery because you need to focus on the road.

🥈 Nîmes, the French Rome by
Unfortunately, I don't understand much of this text written in French, but I read in English translation in the tourist magazine that this arena is one of the best preserved in the world. It was built in the 1st century AD. I am not a huge fan of bullfights and even less of those gladiator fights where they had to fight for their lives in front of the audience... to entertain others...? But that was popular in those times, and according to a legend, Emperor Augustus visited the Arena of Nîmes to meet a famous gladiator.

🥉 Shrikhand Kailash Yatra Part -3 Sarkanda Dhar to Majbon by
While going to Shrikhand Kailash, we spent our second night in Sarkanda Dhar. We were staying in our tent. Sarkanda Dhar is at an altitude of about 3900m above sea level. The cold had also increased due to heavy rain at night. We could hear heavy rain and thunder of lightning inside the tent. The rain also stops as soon as it is morning. There is fog all around. We have breakfast in the morning and pack our tent and move ahead towards Majbon. Majbon is the base camp of Shrikhand Kailash. Shepherds also live here who also arrange food for the travelers. Our third day on the way to Shrikhand Kailash.
