🥇 [ESP/ENG] Un viaje a las Islas Galápagos I: Isla San Cristobal/ A Trip to the Galapagos Islands I: San Cristobal Island by
Hello everyone! Last April I had the incredible fortune to fulfill a dream: to visit the Galapagos Islands. This was possible thanks to the German-Cuban collaboration and the network of researchers to which I belong.
This archipelago in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, about 1,000 km off the coast of Ecuador, is much more than a tourist destination; it's a living museum of evolution and a fascinating testament to the power of our planet. Let me tell you a little about this wonder.
It's an archipelago of volcanic islands, and I was lucky enough to visit four of them. I entered through San Cristobal, the administrative capital of the islands. Then we went to Santa Cruz, followed by the small island of Floreana, and finally, we went to Isabella, the largest of all.
Since it was such a long trip and there was so much to explain, I decided to write one post per island, this way I can share everything I learned there.

🥈 Time and Tide for no man waits. by
St Michael's Mount,-(an English counterpart of Mont-Saint-Michel off the coast of Normandy, France.)-in english, not Cornish, translates as "hoar rock in woodland", it is a tidal island in Mount's Bay, Marazion, Cornwall. Being a tidal island it is not always accessible by foot, you have to get there as I did, as well as coach loads of tourists,-(many Dutch and German voices were heard)-to coincide with the tide.
The castle and chapel though managed by the National Trust, have been the home of the St Aubyn family since around the middle of the 17th century.

🥉 "Yellow Cross" Trail🚩🌍 / Sendero "Cruz amarilla"📸⛺ (En-Es) by
Greetings adventurous friends, today I bring you a new trail full of beautiful paths and a lush landscape typical of the Iberian Peninsula, today I improvised a trail which I titled "yellow cross" because it is an alternative dirt road to the official trail "aldeia de irmaos" that is, we are going to deviate about 4 km in a circular way and complete this path that has quite "rough characteristics in summer" and because of the high temperatures you need a good level of resistance to complete it, enjoy the experience.🌍📸
