First off, we'd like to thank for coming up with this contest idea, after we asked you all over on our Twitter for contest ideas. We think it's a great way to go forward by having community members not just voice contest ideas, but help us in the scoring process in them. This initiative went really well, and we really look forward to performing more contests in this manner and shaping new ways of interaction with you all.
This contest was the first on television shows, and we saw over 50 submissions during the contest's duration. Many posts were really detailed and filled with so much personality regarding the many television shows you've loved throughout your lives.
Having scored all of the submissions, we've concluded the top four posts in the contest that we feel stood out the most to us. So congratulations to everyone that was chosen, and thank you all for contributing to this contest! Rewards will be distributed shortly after posting this.
Contest: Traveling Back in Time Between a Telenovela and a K-drama
I remember how I would go to bed very late watching every telenovela, it gives me a little bit of laughter and nostalgia. At that time we did not have cable television, or the international television service offered by the DRTV company, we did not have so many good things, my parents have fought hard for our education and that was the most important thing. I tell you, this is not a review like the ones I always write, it is one that conveys my memories, what I have felt and allows me to write. It is true, my family is very modest, and thanks to that I got to see many soap operas on the channels, on public television, of course, those that still had concessions!
One good thing about this series is its somewhat realistic approach. Mark Grayson, who is Invincible, is excited when he gets his powers but quickly realizes that the burden he has to carry would be too heavy. He tries to balance his normal life with his superhero life but it proves very difficult and it leads him down a bad emotional path. In the beginning, he believes he can save everyone but when he sees hundreds of people die, he blames himself and goes through a great deal of trauma. The name "Invincible" becomes ironic in the movie when Mark is beaten over and over again by enemies.
The nice part of this program is that it is a family business, not all the workers or those who participate in the program are family but they make everything funnier, because they make jokes with each other, they criticize each other about why to buy such and such and so on, so apart from all the interesting things you learn a lot about history of all kinds, and also as there are many different people when selling objects, I feel that I will never get bored with this program because you really always learn something and see how much they bargain for it is very entertaining.
CONTEST: Which TV Shows Do You Love? | My journey to the past
The biggest hook it had on me was when they brought out the animated series, an adaptation of the original that starred big movie stars like Arnold Schwarzeneger, Brad Pitt, Martin Kove, the beautiful Lea Thompson, and Kelly Preston to name a few, however it wasn't scary at all because I spent more time watching the original series, but in turn the entertainment was greater because the stories were accompanied by a Scooby Doo style surprise and comic element that caused more laughter than anything else, but on a general level the stories were pretty much the same as its predecessors, plus the inclusion of the guardian of the tomb and the old witch fighting with the Crypt Keeper to tell the stories also made it more appealing to me.
Congratulations to everyone that was chosen, and thank you to everyone posting in Movies and TV Shows!
