Today i'll share some tips on
How to Create a Mindful Morning Routine
let's get started
As mean writes is there a way i can add a good morning routine in my life so that i feel more
happy and accomplished in the mornings.
I think the first thing to say is it somewhat depends on whether you're a morning person or more of a night wolf, and i don't want to assume either. So, make these suggestions your
own and do what works for you.
So first try to go to bed without your phone and instead get an alarm clock, not having your phone to hand as soon as you wake up means that you're not tempted to jump straight into emails or social media as this can really impact your stress levels even before you've gotten out of bed. If you can try to get out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off open the curtains or turn on the lights.
Now as the queen of snooze, i know this is really hard to do but it signals to the body that it's morning and it helps our circadian rhythm to stay on track. So i try to do this.
I'll admit not successfully every morning but when i do, i notice a huge difference in my energy levels. Not just in the morning but throughout the day as well and this helps me to feel more accomplished.
Next set aside 10 to 15 minutes that is just for you and your mind. The working day often starts the minute we open our eyes, as the mind starts racing and jumps a head to everything that we have to do. Taking time to meditate can really help to bring the mind and body back together again.
I personally love setting an intention for the day. So for example, this might be something like today i'm going to take breaks in between meetings.
We often greatly underestimate how long certain things will take. So taking that intentional time can mean that we get to the end of our day feeling like we've achieved everything that we needed to.
I know this doesn't always work out that way but getting into that mindset can be
really helpful. See you soon and have a healthy happy day
