I tell you that, coincidentally, I have already started a project about three weeks ago to recycle several things I have at home. For example, my husband has several shirts that he no longer wears, there are several Jean fabrics that are no longer used and scraps of fabric from different fabrics that I have left over from my sewing projects and I don't want to waste.

Luckily this changed since Home Solutions became part of my life, and without a doubt I have felt more motivated to make small changes at home to make everything look better and nicer, and one of those changes was in our bathroom, which despite always being in order, it was not at all a nice space, so I decided to change its appearance.

Certainly insecurities are accompanied by fears that one over the years accumulates. The causes can be various. There are things that are simply harmless or within the standard range (fear of the death of a loved one, fear of not having economic solvency, fear of having health problems, uncertainty about the future, etc.) and there are others that one learns to deal with and that is my case. I consider that in spite of knowing who I am and what I want, I still feel insecure about whether I will really be able to overcome certain fears that affect me in several areas of my life.

Hello Hive friends! It's been a while and I hope you are all fine and healthy today. Also, I hope that you have had a fun-filled weekend just like I do.A week ago, I had these remarkable bonding moments with my 7th-grade students. It was one of the most fun-filled moments that I would surely cherish until my last breath! This batch was a lot more caring and sweeter that's while they've been very close to my heart.

This museum is an interesting art gallery with many outstanding works by renowned Spanish, Italian and Flemish artists mainly. This time, my interest was especially to see a new temporary collection that will only be there for a few months by Joaquín Sorolla, the great Valencian painter who came to fascinate the upper classes of New York at the beginning of the 20th century, returns home and this year in an intense way in different exhibitions. Unfortunately, given the expectation and so many visitors, due to security reasons, you couldn't take photos, so I can't show you anything about this one, you would have to come…

In this post I want to share a very special moment, not only for me, but also for my little girl. For a long time, I had wanted to take her to the cinema, but the opportunity had never arisen (or maybe I hadn't been trying to find the time😉). Finally, I decided to stop delaying and take her to see a movie. In Cuba, the cinema is quite accessible and always has a good selection of films, the problem is that it is a bit far from where we live, but on this occasion, taking advantage of the fact that we were at my in-laws' house and that the cinema was close by, we planned to go on a Sunday afternoon to the Sala 3D screening at the Charles Chaplin cinema to see "How to Train Your Dragon 2".

One week in, and well...I feel pretty good about it. One of the first exercises I followed in Stoic Spiritual Exercises, by Elen Buzare, was to read Marcus Aurelius's Meditiations. Or more uniquely, the author recommends one read chapters 2.1 (partial above), 2.6, 4.3, 4.26, 7.22, 8.21, 11.18, 12.7, 12.8, and 12.26 of Meditations isolate repeated messages communicated by Aurelius. Then, after reading the passages, write down one's interpretation of his message. I've done this exercise every morning and evening this week, and I wanted to share my interpretation of his Stoic message. Here it is:

Fast forward two years later, we were given another chance to climb Mt. Apo before its annual closure. Our original route was supposed to be via Sta. Cruz – Bansalan Trail. However, after the earthquakes that rocked Davao, Bansalan LGU “lost” our papers and will no longer honor our downpayments. It was one of our seemingly endless plot twists, but as they say “a bit of bad luck is a blessing in disguise.” We were told we’d follow the Sta. Cruz – Century Tree trail circuit instead, which was actually a great option since it meant that we would be able to see the infamous Lake Venado! So here we go…

I remember having thick and shiny hair before. I always enjoy it when my Mom braids it, and I can go to school without those hairs scattering all over my face. The only problem I faced during those days was getting a lot of head lice and louse.I remember crying too because it was too itchy on my head, but Mom had a solution for it every time it happened. Although it really takes a lot of time to resolve it, I'm always thankful that Mom has always had my back, taking care of it.
