Wanna start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year, hope all your dreams and goals come true and are achieved this year. So I had paused the running for a while, was doing about 1 or 2 runs per month then I started doing strength training which made me feel stronger while running which lead to me signing up for a half marathon in march and getting back to running. My plan is to combine the strength training with the running to lower my half marathon time I ran in 2019. I will use hive to write about my journey, share with the running community here on hive and to have it somewhere saved digitally if I want to share with friends etc. I started the week pretty good with a 5km run yesterday and some light intervals today.
