I have said this millions of time in my previous posts that Friday is the day on which I used to have lunch at work otherwise I don’t do lunch at work. This could be due to some mental issues I have but I don’t feel like having lunch at work. In the whole career, I used to have lunch at one company because of my friends but the main reason is cafeteria and crockery. It had a nice big space and clean utensils. Now, I think I don’t have to explain further why I don’t do lunch at work.
Fridays are different though because we do lunch outside and it has become a trend now so I join my office colleagues. It is becoming a big news at work, other people were commenting on it and appreciating the initiative of making a WhatsApp group to finalize the restaurant or what to eat. The option which gets the most votes will be the final place for Friday lunch. No more arguments or last minute decisions which effect the mood of group people. It is working fine for us. Last Friday, Zinger Burger gets the most votes however, I was in mood of Haleem but it only gets my vote and majority of people were in the mood of Zinger Burger.
As usual, we gathered at the mosque after prayers and headed to the restaurant. It was the first time we were going to that fast food restaurant. One of the best thing in our group is no one is scared of trying new restaurants whereas most of the people do not take such risks while eating outside.
Weather was overcast, for the whole week we didn’t see sunlight so we call it English weather. It was windy too. We were the only guests in that restaurant having eight seats. Now, the twist, while watching the menu card, everyone just changed their choice from Zinger burger to the Broast. Well, this thing never inspires me. I am flexible but sometimes, I just don’t flow with the wind or do what everyone else is doing. I stick to the plan, I didn’t changed my mood whereas every other person changed their mind for Broast. It took a while to get the order served, in the meantime, we shared jokes and it was a good atmosphere.
Lunch was served, broast was looking too awesome, good portion I mean good quantity. Zinger was just decent, not something special or extraordinary. It has an average taste, not bad. Others claiming that Broast is fantastic and too delicious. I tasted it but the same result, nothing special about it, still we enjoyed our Friday meal together. Main and important thing is sitting together for lunch itself gives you a bit of extra pleasure and food turns out to be tasty even if it is just ok type of food. So, that’s my theory and opinion about Food. Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed our food. Lets see what we gonna have by next Friday. Cheers!!!
