Today I will be sharing with you this healthy potatoes and unripe plantain porridge combo recipe I figured out by myself that came out very delicious and tasty š. Stay with me as I take on steps to step on how I achieve it.
INGREDIENTS USED
2 unripe plantain
2 sweet potato
4 onions
200g of pumpkin leaf
1 cooking spoon of red oil
20 pieces of red pepper
½ table spoon of salt
70cl Water
PROCEDURE
I picked my pumpkin leaf, I washed it thoroughly to remove dirt and then sliced it and kept it aside.
Next I washed the pepper and onions, then blend the red pepper with my manual blender and sliced the onions.
I peel the unripe plantain and sweet potatoes, then wash it, cut it to my desired size. I then pour them inside a clean pot to cook, I added salt and red oil and allow it to cook for 15minutes till its tender to eat.
So after 15 minutes the plantain and potatoes its tender to eat, I add in pepper, the sliced onions and my pumpkin leaf, I stir it to compare and allow it to cook for 2 minutes because I don't want the pumpkin leaf to be overcooked.
Here our delicious and healthy plantain and potatoes porridge it's ready to be served and devour. It tastes so great. Unripe plantain and potatoes being a hearty food, its very Rich in fiber and in some vitamins, it's help to support blood pressure and heart health because of the potassium in it and also aids in digestion. This has been my best way to cook this meal for family, the taste it's out of this world.
