Hello friends, today I would like to share a recipe made with cluster beans. Cluster beans, also known as Cyamopsis tetragonoloba, are native to India and have many benefits for overall health. It is very tasty together with a hand-rolled rice bread recipe.
Cluster beans. they look like this.
Ingredients:
250 grams of cluster beans
2 tbsp yellow lentils(tur dal)
1 onion
1/4 cup fresh grated coconut
1 tomato
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp turmeric
handful coriander
2 tsp oil
1 pinch of sugar.
Wash and cut the cluster beans by hand.
Soak tur dal. Chop onion, tomato, and coriander.
Heat oil in a Pan.
Put the onion in the hot oil and stir it.
Stir until the onion gets transparent.
Add tomato. Stir until gets softer.
Add tur dal and stir.
Add beans.
Add chili powder, salt, turmeric, and a pinch of sugar to get a tangy taste.
Add coriander and coconut.
add water. Cover and cook for around 7-8 minutes
And it is done.
To make rice bread just need rice flour and salt and boiled water.
For 1 cup rice flour add 2-3 pinches of salt and 3/4 cup boiling water. In rice flour add salt and pour boiling water in it.
Mix it using a spatula.
Knead a nice soft dough.
make appropriate sized balls.
Make roti/bread using hand.
Mostly this kind of pan we use to bake roti/ bread.
now roti is ready to go on a hot frying pan.
For roti we don't use oil we use water to get it properly cooked.
As soon as the water from the roti dried out flip it
roti is also ready so now time to eat food.
