How are you all? I hope you are all well. I am also fine. Today, I am sharing with you the recipe for sem alu ki sabji, which can be prepared in just 20 minutes. You can also make this dish without potatoes. I often do that. It's a simple stir-fry recipe that doesn't take much time to cook.
It's delicious and goes very well with roti or paratha. It's also perfect for packing in lunch boxes. So, let's learn how to make it.
Ingredients:
- 100 grams of green beans (sem)
- 2-3 potatoes
- 2 small onions
- Garlic and ginger paste
- Fenugreek seeds
- 2 tomatoes
- Carrot 1
- Salt
Step 1:
Firstly, we will break the green beans into two halves and also chop the potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic into small pieces. We will wash the vegetables thoroughly with clean water.
Step 2:
Now, heat oil in a pan and let it become hot. Then, add fenugreek seeds and let them crackle. After that, add chopped onions and garlic and fry them until golden brown.
Step 3:
Next, add the chopped green beans, potatoes, tomatoes, and carrots to the pan and fry them in oil for about 2 minutes. Then, add salt, cover, and let it cook for a few minutes. Check if the potatoes are cooked, then turn off the heat.
Your sem alu sabji will be ready. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
