Noodles Pumpkin Jipang Vegetable Stir-Fry
This recipe was inspired by one of my friends who lives in a jipang pumpkin farming area. She made noodles with jipang pumpkin, at first I was surprised but she said it would be very tasty. Because I was curious about the results, I also wanted to try making it at home. Well if my friend harvested in the garden I bought jipang pumpkin directly in the area I lived yesterday. The price was very cheap 2 small sized gourds at IDR. 3,000.
Well there are a few tips for making noodles with this combination of vegetables, the thing you need to pay attention to is the use of pumpkin vegetables that you use. Make sure you use a small and young jipang pumpkin and a solid green color. Because in my opinion a small pumpkin like this has a better texture and tastes better.
Ingredients Used
2 jipang pumpkins,
1 piece of noodle,
1 small white mustard root,
2 stalks of spring onion,
2 celery leaves,
2 shallot cloves,
2 cloves garlic,
1 red chili pepper,
1 teaspoon ground pepper
Cooking Procedure
Step 1
Peel the Japanese pumpkin, then cut it lengthwise like a stick or can be according to your taste.
Step 2
The chicory into large pieces, about 4cm, then wash and set aside.
Step 3
Chop celery leaves and spring onions according to taste. Then chop the onion and red chili.
Step 4
After all the vegetables are prepared, I first boil the noodles in boiling water until the noodles are cooked and tender.
Step 5
Prepare a wok, add one tablespoon of oil then saute shallots and garlic until brownish yellow.
Step 6
Add red chili and cayenne pepper and then add chayote pieces.
Step 7
Also add the chicory pieces, stir until evenly distributed then add a little water.
Step 8
Give a little salt, and add ground pepper and also give a little sweet soy sauce this is optional if you don't like it you don't need to add it.
Step 9
Finally add the noodles that have been boiled, stir until evenly distributed, cook for a while and don't forget to correct the taste.
Result
Jipang pumpkin vegetable noodles are ready to serve, serve Jipang pumpkin vegetable noodles at lunch time at home, ah I can spend 1 large portion of this noodle alone. The taste is very good, the combination of my favorite vegetables added with simple spices is very authentic. I love noodles with simple dishes like this.
