We're still in the Rosemont neighborhood of Montreal for the StreetArt festival Canettes de Ruelle which took place last fall (first weekend of september). Today we're in the event's "Main" alley, south of Masson Street, to admire the mural created by Wastoids Crew.
Nous sommes toujours dans le quartier de Rosemont à Montréal pour le festival StreetArt Canettes de Ruelle qui s'est déroulé l'automne dernier. Aujourd'hui nous sommes dans la ruelle "principale" de l'événement, au sud de la rue Masson, pour admirer le mur réalisé par Wastoids Crew.

The Canettes de Ruelle festival takes place in the Rosemont neighborhood of Montreal, around Masson Street. We are in the alley parallel to Masson Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues.

Wastoids Crew
This mural was created by the WASTOIDS crew, the first time I've heard that name (well, if my memory serves me right), but I recognize the artists' names. They are Peru143 aka Patrick Dyer, an artist of Peruvian origin who has been living there for many years, Kid Oldman Zorkball. And they invited Le Mshl aka Myshel Sicre for this theme, which seems straight out of Alice in Wonderland.
Ce mur a été réalisé par le collectif WASTOIDS, première fois que j'entends ce nom (enfin si mes souvenirs sont corrects) mais le nom des artistes m'est connu. Il s'agit de Peru143 aka Patrick Dyer, un artiste d'origine péruvienne installé depuis de nombreuses années, Kid Oldman Zorkball. Et ils ont invité Le Mshl aka Myshel Sicre pour ce thème qui semble sortir de Alice au Pays des Merveilles.
It was a bit difficult to photograph this wall with the row of bins and the narrowness of the alley. You really have to come during the festival to avoid bins in this passage, because otherwise it's full of them 😤. Luckily, you can't smell it in the photos. / FR : C'était un peu difficile de prendre en photo ce mur avec la rangée de poubelles et l'étroitesse de la ruelle. Dans ce passage, il faut vraiment venir pendant le festival pour ne pas avoir de poubelles car sinon c'est plein de bacs 😤.
Fannie Bertrand
On the side of the mural, there's a stencil done by Fannie Bertrand (https://www.instagram.com/atelierenvoleefa/), a Montreal-based artist and illustrator. She's created a little girl with a balloon and a small toy, her finger to her mouth. Perhaps it's Alice, to create a link with the other side of the wall.
Sur le côté de la murale, il y a comme un pochoir de Fannie Bertrand, artiste et illustratrice basée à Montréal. Elle a réalisé une petite fille avec un ballon et un petit doudou, le doigt sur la bouche. Peut-être que c'est Alice pour faire le lien avec l'autre côté du mur.
