I hope to finish showcasing all the murals created during the 2025 edition of the StreetArt Festival Canettes de Ruelle before the end of winter 😀. There's a lot to see in this Montreal neighborhood, but it should be finished soon. Although I'll have to go back in the spring to photograph the murals I missed. Today, I'm featuring the mural done by the CEK Crew, a Montreal-based artists' crew.

J'espère finir la présentation de toutes les murales faites lors de l'édition 2025 du festival StreetArt Canettes de Ruelle avant la fin de l'hiver 😀. Il y a beaucoup à voir dans ce quartier de Montréal mais normalement c'est bientôt terminé même si au printemps, il faudra que j'y retourne pour prendre en photos les murales oubliées. Aujourd'hui, il s'agit du mur réalisé par le CEK Crew, collectif d'artistes montréalais.

The Canettes de Ruelle festival is taking place in the Rosemont neighborhood of Montreal, around Masson Street. We're still in the "main" alley parallel to Masson Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, right next to the mural featured on Tuesday, see StreetArt #858.

Le festival Canettes de Ruelle se déroule dans le quartier de Rosemont à Montréal autour de la rue Masson. Nous sommes toujours dans la ruelle "principale" parallèle à la rue Masson au entre la 7ème et la 8ème avenues juste à côté du mur présenté mardi, voir StreetArt #858.

CEK Crew

The sun was beating down a bit too hard on this wall when I passed by at the end of September. And there are plenty of garbage bins, since it's an alley off Masson street, lined with lots of shops and restaurants. You can still admire the letterings done by the artists of CEK Crew with Deep between the two windows at the top...

Le soleil tapait un peu trop fort sur ce mur lors de mon passage à la fin du mois de septembre. Et dans cette ruelle, les bacs de poubelles sont nombreux vu que c'est la ruelle de la rue Masson, beaucoup de magasins et restaurants. On peut quand même admirer les lettrages réalisés par les artistes du CEK Crew avec Deep entre les deux fenêtres en haut...

...then above the door, there's Ctzen, then Resno and Jher. And finally, in the corner, there's Ekual and Bhar. The whole ensemble, with its warm colors, must really stand out in winter with the snow.

L'ensemble avec ses couleurs chaudes doit bien ressortir en hiver avec la neige.

Meor & Menar

Menar & Meor

On the building between the walls of CEK Crew and GYH Crew (StreetArt #858), there's a strange man climbing a ladder in the corner done by Menar. His style is recognizable with his unique faces; see other examples on StreetArt #846. Then on the main wall, it is Meor, a rather discreet artist (or I don't have the chance to come across his work), see another mural by his hand on StreetArt #356.

Sur l'immeuble entre les murs du CEK Crew et du GYH Crew (StreetArt #858), il y a dans le coin un homme montant à l'échelle par Menar. On reconnait son style avec ses visages singuliers, voir d'autres exemples sur StreetArt #846. Puis sur le mur principal, il s'agit de Meor, artiste plutôt discret (ou je n'ai pas la chance de tomber sur son travail), voir une autre murale de sa main sur StreetArt #356.
