Nice to greet you in my first entry in this #Beer community.
This week I am in Portugal for work reasons and every day is reaching more than 30 degrees centigrade and that is why there is nothing more refreshing than a good cold beer that can accompany a typical Portuguese dish as is the codfish gratin.
Super Bock Abadia Beer and Codfish au gratin
The beer I chose to accompany my lunch was a Super Bock Abadia brewed by SUPERBOCK.PT in Leça do Balio outside Porto.

It is a beer with the following characteristics according to the manufacturer:
| Feature | |
|---|---|
| Appearance | Shiny |
| Alcohol | 6.4% vol |
| Style | Belgian Abbey |
| Colour | Copper |
| Foam | Beige |
| Body | Moderate/strong |
| Flavour | Sweet, rounded by a bitter sweet and fruity |
Unlike the beers of the Spanish brewed beers that I normally consume in my country, I liked this beer for being less bitter and above all for having less gas than the Spanish beers. At the same time, its combination with fish dishes such as the wonderful fish recipes from Portugal is majestic. The only disappointment I had with this beer is that because I had to drive after lunch, I could not drink an additional Super Bock Abadia beer.
A pleasure to share this refreshing beer.
