¡Hola Hivers y futuros Hivers! Hoy vengo a contarles sobre el mejor proyecto que he emprendido en cuarentena: ESCRIBIR EN HIVE. Y es que en menos de 3 meses que tengo en esta plataforma, he obtenido gratas experiencias que quiero que todos mis amigos vivan también...

Pero, comencemos desde el principio.

ORIANA ANTES DE HIVE

Toda la vida me ha gustado escribir, fotografiar y en general crear contenido. Tanto así que decidí estudiar Comunicación Social, y de hace un tiempo para acá me planteé la posibilidad de ganar dinero creando contenido pues es algo que en realidad amo hacer. Comencé a subir algunos poemas en Wattpad, y pese a que es una red social que me encanta sentía que no era lo que buscaba...

Yo necesitaba algo que pudiera impulsarme profesionalmente, que el día de mañana yo pudiera decir: "Me gano la vida creando contenido". Por supuesto que soy fan de muchísimos creadores de contenidos que dan consejos para vivir de ello así que decidí copiar sus métodos para empezar: Abrí un blog personal en una plataforma de blogging llamada Wix, que pese a que no es muy buena me gustaba la interfaz con la que quedaba mi blog. Comencé a escribir allí y era algo que me gustaba mucho, pero había un problema: La gente no me estaba leyendo.

Recuerdo que siempre compartía las entradas que publicaba a través de mi instagram, mi facebook y mis estados de WhatsApp. A veces, uno que otro amigo entraba a echarle un vistazo y ya ¡eso era todo! Esto me entristecía un poco, pues me esforzaba mucho creando mis posts y quería compartirlos con los demás pero no lo estaba logrando...

Este era el encabezado de mi blog en Wix. Cambiarme a HIVE ha sido lo mejor...

Luego de eso me animé a crear contenido para YouTube también, puesto a que amo la producción audiovisual y pensé que sería muy buen comienzo para adentrarme en ella. Subí un par de videos a YouTube y estaba muy entusiasmada puesto a que obtuvieron más visitas que mi blog. Pensé: "Voy a esforzarme mucho, para llenar los requisitos de YouTube y monetizar mi contenido" Así que ese era el plan...Pero no contaba con lo que estaban por plantearme.

COMO LLEGUÉ A HIVE

Recuerdo un día en el que hablando con mi amiga Hive account@jotadayann (que hace bastante que no escribe por acá por cierto) me pregunta si me gusta escribir, y obvio le dije que si. Ella me cuenta de esta plataforma que estaba adoptando personas para que se incorporaran a monetizar sus contenidos, y me preguntó si quería entrarle. Lo primero que se me pasó por la cabeza fue: ESTAFA, y es que me parecía muy bueno para ser verdad la idea de poder monetizar tu contenido desde el primer momento.

Obviamente yo confiaba en Jota y sabía que no me mentíría, además de que ella ya había monetizado su contenido y por eso ¡decidí intentarlo! Fue entonces cuando entré al grupo de WhatsApp de Hive account@rutablockchain y de entrada me sentí abrumada. Cuando tuvimos el forochat de introducción me gustó bastante el proyecto y estaba entusiasmada de mandar mi presentación para la creación de mi cuenta, pero pensaba en tener un tema bastante diferente al blog que tenía: pensaba en subir poemas y ya, mientras que en mi blog subía contenido sobre arte y desarrollo personal. Puede decirse que veía HIVE simplemente como una manera de tener ingresos, pero no en realidad como una pasión.

¿POR QUÉ SE CONVIRTIÓ EN MI PASIÓN?

Después de mis primeras publicaciones tuve un episodio depresivo y me alejé de la plataforma por casi un mes, fueron semanas difíciles en las que tuve que aprender a lidiar conmigo misma y con mis emociones. Pero quería regresar y tomé el valor para hacerlo con este post sobre la salud mental en el que hablé sobre los pequeños cambios que estaba haciendo para mejorar. La comunidad me dio una calurosa bienvenida de vuelta, y sinceramente puedo decir que me sentí como en casa...Fue casi como si no me hubiera ido. Incluso en ese momento Hive account@danielvehe me escribió para saber como estaba, y unos días después Hive account@enmy me escribió dándome algunos tips para mejorar mi blog. ¡A ambos les agradezco muchísimo!

Cuando recibo esta hermosa etiqueta de parte de Hive account@rutablockchain me motivo a seguir creando contenido de calidad.

Decidí retomar mi reto de siete días de creatividad y obtuve un gran apoyo en el mismo por parte de la comunidad. Le quiero agradecer inmensamente a Hive account@theycallmedan (quien también es autor de esta iniciativa) por haberme apoyado bastante en las publicaciones de este reto y en otras que hice después.

Algo que me motivó mucho fue cuando hice esta review de mi serie favorita y vi la cantidad de votos que obtuvo ¡588! ¡A 588 personas les gustó lo que hice!

Otra cosa que me motivó mucho fue ver el increíble talento que tiene esta comunidad, y es que me fascinaba leer las publicaciones de otras personas y sentirme reflejada en ellas. Algunos blogs que me han inspirado son: Hive account@vicvperezdelara Hive account@samgiset Hive account@sofiaquino98 Hive account@cronosclocks y Hive account@danielapevs (revisenlos porque están INCREIBLES).

Me he sentido muy contenta porque la comunidad Hiver es muy cercana y familiar, y siento que estoy teniendo un público al que le gusta lo que hago. En este sentido, me sentí muy feliz cuando Hive account@readmymind me mencionó en este post como una de sus 5 hivers favoritos, tal como le comenté ¡Eso me hizo apasionarme mucho más por Hive! ¡Muchísimas gracias!

EN RESUMEN...

Veo en Hive como un regalo increíble que el universo me ha otorgado, pues acá he podido conseguir lo que tanto he buscado para mi contenido: Monetizarlo, y tener personas a las que les guste lo que hago.

Veo en Hive una gran posibilidad de ganarme la vida haciendo lo que amo, al mismo tiempo que apoyo a otros creadores de contenido con un gran talento.

Creo que esta plataforma puede aportarle mucho a mi vida, y espero hacer lo mismo. Quiero aportarle a Hive tanto como me ha aportado a mi... Por eso el próximo paso es comenzar a crear contenido para 3speak, e invitar a más personas a unirse este hermoso proyecto que te cambia la vida.

But, let's start from the beginning.

ORIANA BEFORE HIVE

All my life I have enjoyed writing, photographing and generally creating content. So much so that I decided to study Social Communication, and some time ago I thought about the possibility of earning money by creating content because it's something I really love doing. I started to upload some poems on Wattpad, and even though it's a social network that I love I felt that it wasn't what I was looking for...

I needed something that could propel me professionally, that tomorrow I could say, "I make a living creating content". Of course I'm a fan of many content creators who give advice on how to make a living from it so I decided to copy their methods to start with: I opened a personal blog on a blogging platform called Wix, which although not very good I liked the interface that my blog was left with. I started to write there and it was something I really liked, but there was a problem: People weren't reading me.

I remember that I always shared the posts I published through my instagram, my facebook and my WhatsApp statuses. Sometimes a friend would come in and take a look, and that was it! This made me a little sad, because I was trying hard to create my posts and I wanted to share them with others but I wasn't succeeding...

This was the headline of my blog at Wix. Switching to HIVE was the best thing...

After that I decided to create content for YouTube too, since I love audiovisual production and I thought it would be a good start to get into it. I uploaded a couple of videos to YouTube and was very excited because they got more hits than my blog. I thought, "I'm going to work really hard to meet YouTube's requirements and monetize my content." So that was the plan...But I didn't count on what they were about to propose to me.

HOW I CAME TO HIVE

I remember one day when talking to my friend Hive account@jotadayann (who hasn't written here for quite a while by the way) she asked me if I liked writing, and obviously I said yes. She told me about this platform that was adopting people to join to monetize its contents, and asked me if I wanted to join her. The first thing that came to my mind was: SCAM, and it seemed very good to me to be true the idea of being able to monetize your content from the first moment.

Obviously I trusted Jota and I knew she wouldn't lie to me, besides she had already monetized her content and that's why I decided to try! That's when I joined Hive account@rutablockchain's WhatsApp group and was overwhelmed from the start. When we had the introductory forochat I quite liked the project and was excited to send my presentation for my account creation, but I was thinking about having a quite different theme than the blog I had: I was thinking about uploading poems and that's it, while in my blog I was uploading content about art and personal development. You could say that I saw HIVE simply as a way to have an income, but not really as a passion.

WHY DID IT BECOME MY PASSION?

After my first posts I had a depressive episode and was away from the platform for almost a month, they were difficult weeks in which I had to learn to deal with myself and my emotions. But I wanted to come back, and I took the courage to do so with this post about mental health in which I talked about the small changes I was making to get better. The community gave me a warm welcome back, and I can honestly say that I felt at home...It was almost like I didn't leave. Even at that time Hive account@danielvehe wrote to me to know how I was, and a few days later Hive account@enmy wrote to me giving me some tips to improve my blog. I thank you both very much!

When I receive this beautiful label from Hive account@rutablockchain I am motivated to continue creating quality content.

I decided to continue with my seven-day creativity challenge and got a lot of support from the community. I want to thank immensely Hive account@theycallmedan (who is also the author of this initiative) for having supported me a lot in the publications of this challenge and others I did later.

Something that really motivated me was when I did this review of my favorite series and saw how many votes it got! 588! 588 people liked what I did!

Another thing that motivated me a lot was to see the incredible talent that this community has, and that is that I was fascinated to read other people's publications and feel reflected in them.
