Drinks or beverages are liquids, that help us swallow food, satisfy our thirst and provide nutrients or it detoxifies one's body. Examples are water, milk, wine, beer, cocktails, mocktails, pure fruit drinks, or a combination of fruits with or without adding sugar. Preparing juice drinks of our own is one of the best healthy lifestyles to be sure that we will be consuming healthy drinks. Our health is also affected by the types of drinks we usually intake and by the way how it is prepared. My dear hive friends today I would like to share my version of drinks. Drinks that contain a lot of nutrients and are refreshing.
In connection with my husband's situation or condition, I prepared drinks that could help him or add nutrients to his body. So I choose watermelon, carrots, and cucumber. If you want to know about these drinks, here's how.
Ingredients
1.1/4 part of a whole watermelon
2.2 pcs. carrots
3.2 pcs. piping or cucumber
4.250 ml milk (evaporated)
Procedures:
- Prepare all the ingredients, tools, and equipment needed.
- Wash first carrots and cucumber before slicing and paring.
- Slice the cucumber,
watermelon, and carrots into cubes. - Put or Add the sliced fruits in a blender and add a cube of ice and 250 ml. of milk.
- Blend well until all juice is extracted or all fruits become juice except the carrots.
- Sift the juice using a sieve and filter to remove the excess pulp.
- Serve with a cube of ice.
- You may add a slice of cucumber or watermelon as garnish.
Variations:
Add water to the juice extract and a little sugar or honey.
My husband and my children like so much the drinks. Amazing taste. It satisfied their thirst and is very nutritious.
