A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of #Actifit.
Two of the four elements, air and water, met in the sky this morning in #Naples to make a waltz of rain, storm and wind over our heads. The weather concert lasted for almost four interminable hours. But it didn’t get much better all day.
After lunch, however, I put on my sneakers because I decided to make a #iamalivechallenge 208 in bad weather to check if my city was the same beautiful and #alive even in bad weather.
Arriving at the Metro 2 station in Piazza Amedeo I was immediately greeted by a downpour, that black cloud that you see in the first photo, made me realize that today it is getting serious.
Down via dei Mille the first photo I take is to the beautiful church of Santa Teresa in Chiaia with the entrance with the characteristic staircase. The colors of the ecclesiastical structure stood out exceptionally immersed in the leaden and stormy sky.
In this street there are a myriad of historical buildings of fine workmanship among these stands out this condominium in classic twentieth century Liberty style "the Palazzo Leonetti". It is now home to the British and Spanish consulates.
Arrived in front of the turning for via Filangieri I find the Mannajuolo palace recently renovated. Also this neoclassical Liberty style represented an innovation when it was built and the appearance is currently still futuristic.
According to Chiaia is inevitable stop at the statue of Victory in Piazza dei Martiri.
Even the beautiful buildings of the 18th century city lend themselves very well in the present stormy atmosphere.
Finally, along via Morelli to reach the Vittoria gallery, which is at the end of the road after the Bourbon gallery. The intersection of these two communication routes from a beautiful architectural combination delight of the goals of the best photographers in the city.
