I am halfway through my monotonous work week and tomorrow is definitely Friday 😁 I am going to have company for a little while. The doc is coming in as is a patient. So, it will be time to truss up and do viral warfare! At least I have what I need!
It poured late this afternoon and I was thinking we might not get to hike. However, the heavens stopped dumping and the sun sort of came out, so we were good to go.
The trails were a bit muddy because of the rain, so that left parts somewhat dicey. Actifit-Lamb came along as usual. She got adventurous and wanted to sit on cross beams under the deck at Towhee Ridge.
I told her that’s where the cougars sleep, but she wasn’t afraid! She said ‘ I’m not afraid of no stinkin’ cougars!’ She thinks she’s a big lamb and she can take care of those cougars, yes siree!!
On today’s hike I found two of my favorite things to photograph; a slug....
......and a snail.....
Most of the snails I’ve photographed in the past had dark shells and they themselves were darker in color than this guy. Normally, I might would have thought this shell had been abandon because of its white-ish color, but as you can see, it was definitely occupied.
