Hello everybody and thanks for stopping by!
Being Saturday and nowhere to be, I slept in. My sleep as of late has not been restful. I’ve tried a couple of things to try to alleviate that, but so far nothing is working. I’m going to have to try to figure it out.
Anyway, today dawned cloudy and cool. It was forecasted this way but is odd because it will begin a warming trend heading next week into hot. We were already kind of there and then today happened. Kind of weird but I’ll take the cooler temps.
About 1 pm we headed out for a hike. Jan, our neighbor joined us. It’s been 6 months since she’s done the whole trail with us.
As we passed the property where the pitbull was last night, I’m happy to report he was nowhere in sight! That was a relief!
We discovered we couldn’t sit on any of the benches today on the trail, as Keith had been along and just re-coated them with finish. It was like we were just passing him, but never saw him.
We were headed down Bear Hollow when I spotted this little guy.
We were headed towards Towhee Ridge when Jan spied this for me.
Pretty cool!
We came home and enjoyed a coffee and did a little bit on the computer before fixing dinner. I made Cincinnati Chili for dinner and it was wonderful!😋
It will be time for bed soon. Tomorrow is another day and really the best day of the week! We get to go to church! 😇
