Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
Wednesday is my Monday-well it is in my work world! Usually, we have appointments and it can be a fairly busy to extremely busy day. As I was fixing my coffee to go this morning, I received a text from the doc that he wasn’t feeling well. Given that, he wanted me to cancel all of the appointments for the day. So, once I got to work, that was my main task. I was able to get in touch with all but one and he didn’t show anyway. He either got the message and just didn’t bother to call to reschedule or, he was not coming anyway. In the end, it all worked out.
So, that left me with no patients and no appointments. I can’t stand to be idle, so I worked my way through what I would normally do on a Thursday when the doc isn’t there. Mission accomplished-so tomorrow, I’ll work on a special project and then hunt for those things you stick in your “roundtuit “ container.
After work, I headed home to prepare my second coffee for the day. Then we set out for a hike.
Jan joined us and we headed on up. It was going to be a short hike because of time. We made it to the bench on Bear Hollow.

It seems like the entire west coast is on fire and the smoke from California, Oregon and Washington is all sort of combining together. While the fires are deadly and destructive, sometimes the smoke can help to create beauty. The sunset colors were dramatic tonight.
The pinks and the oranges really were quite beautiful. I’m not sure the picture does it justice.
It was not as hot tonight as I thought it was going to be; however, tomorrow is supposed to be warmer. We will see how that plays out and how it affects the hike
I’ve got some stuff to do on the computer, so that’s gonna be it for now. Keep on
