Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
TGIF!! My regular doc wasn’t at work today, so I had another doc doing the eye exams at the clinic. Unfortunately due to insurance regulations, a lot of the patients could not see this doc as he wasn’t a provider at our location. We ended up with only 3 appointments on the books and one was a ‘no show’. Disappointing for sure.
After he left early, I continued on with my work and got things squared away for the day.
I knew that there was an air quality for Adt stating our air was going to be bad, but I was not prepared for what I saw when I left work! There was very little distance visibility. The smoke from either our own state’s fires, Oregon’s fires and/or California’s fires had completely fill our skies!🙀. A few years ago, we had smoke from Canadian forest fires which was when my breathing difficulties began, and that was nowhere near this bad!
I headed for home and enjoyed a coffee. We then decided to practice music for Sunday before going out for a hike. I was a bit concerned because of the smoke and what it had done to me before, so I decided to hike with a mask. As difficult as that was to do, I’m very glad I did. Right now as I type, our air quality is 160 which is deemed unhealthy. It’s nighttime here.
Smoke has an interesting effect on the sun. It filters it enough to make you think you can look directly at it, but this is unwise to do. This picture is of the sun as it began its descent tonight.
Due to the evening approaching, we didn’t get as far as we would have liked. On the way back down, we stopped at the first bench near Keith and Lynne’s driveway for 
She’s cooking up something-I can tell!
We came home; I survived my hike with a mask, and I began prepping dinner.
We are planning a morning hike as we’ve got stuff to do tomorrow, so that’s gonna be it for now. Keep on
