It was a leisurely start to the day. The weather was gloriously sunny and it promised to be beautiful! We were not disappointed!
Around noon, we headed out to Home Depot to get a pressure treated board to make rails for the garden cart. This 2x6x8 turned out to be a whopping $17.96! 😳😳 Turns out, OSB board was over $51 per 4x8 sheet!🙀🙀 wood products are at a crazy high! No wonder people are charging $2500 a month for rent! This is insane!!
We bought the board anyway 🙃 Nothing you can do about it unfortunately. I also got a couple more vegetable plants and some potting soil as well.
We got home but had texted Jan telling her 3:30 was looking good for a start time.
We headed out. The sun was shining warm enough to make you think it was summer here.
I found this little frog hopping to wherever he was going. He stayed still long enough to get his picture.
I didn’t get any real gardening done today but really need to. Perhaps tomorrow.
I’m already sleepy and I’ve still got a few hours before bedtime. Hope I make it!
