There’s snow on them thar hills!
We set out this afternoon for a hike with glorious sunshine, but as you can see in the picture, it was all but gone within the hour. I decided today to push a little further to Towhee Ridge. That’s the view from there.
Backs are a funny thing and too little activity can set you back as well as too much activity. So the question is, just what is too little or too much? There’s a fine line in the answer. I got as far as the bench at the beginning of Bear Hollow and stopped to pay attention to what my back was saying and try to discern whether to call it good or push on. One thing different today was that I had a backpack with 3 lambs on board. The backpack has an added frame to keep it spaced out from my back that does add a bit of weight to it. I decided to go on and the goal was Towhee Ridge.
Once we arrived, I set about unpacking the mini gang that was with me. 
As you can see, they’ve put their coats on as it’s beginning to get chilly. They were scampering through trees, over rocks and logs! It was all I could do to get them to sit on top the whiskey barrel long enough to get pictures, lol! I think they’ve been cooped up too long indoors! 🙀
Soon enough, it was time to go. 
After we got home I fixed coffees for us and we enjoyed an almond biscotti with dark chocolate. Yum!😋
