Happy Fourth of July!!

We got up this morning and after fixing coffees I went to do a little bit of stuff on the computer with crypto while Hive account@silvertop headed up to the roof to try to patch a leak that developed overnight. And, of course it would be right where our nice hardwood engineered wood floor is!😳🙄
Fortunately it didn’t really rain super heavy so the leak was minimal; he believes that he’s gotten it fixed for now. We will have to reassess that once the rains begin again.

After a brief trip to Lynden and back again, we headed out for a short hike up the road and ran into several neighbors, all just kind of enjoying the holiday. We had decided that we were going to have a bonfire and cook hamburgers out on that fire.

It’s been a bit of a lazy day due to the holiday but nice and relaxing. I do wish the sun would come out for more than just a few minutes at a time. We’ve been under some rainy, cloudy conditions lately and whereas I enjoy the coooler temperatures, a little bit of summer might be nice! ☀️☀️☀️

Hey Hive account@silversaver888! Remember when you said you wanted to see a picture of a mocha Frappuccino that I had made? This is it! It is a mocha Frappuccino with peanut butter syrup with lots of my homemade whip cream and chocolate swirls! Very, very tasty!
