There is a busy week ahead so I had plans to be busy today to get ahead but that was hampered by a late night yesterday as I got home from an event with the family to play some video games again. I still woke up early but having only 5 hours of sleep changed my thoughts for an early run outside. It was also hotter than I expected so that felt like a recipe for disaster. Instead, I stayed at home with the family for breakfast first.
I got some chores done as I needed before considering when to go for a workout. An option was to head to the gym but that would have taken a chunk of my afternoon and I prefered to stay close with the family. After an afternoon coffee and a quick snack while getting some work done, I headed to the treadmill at home for an interval session. It wasn’t too intense but I got a great sweat in. I took a cooldown walk afterwards to leave little for later. It was a good way to prepare for the week ahead with some rest.
