Lately, something I enjoy about living on a farm is getting up very early. In my case, to achieve this, I have to go to bed before 11 p.m. on an empty stomach or after having metabolized dinner, which I usually do at 8 or 9 p.m. In the beginning, I used an alarm clock, but now my body wakes up automatically. Whenever I put my first foot on the floor, I thank God for a new day.
En este último tiempo, algo que disfrutan de masía es levantarme bien temprano. En mi caso para lograrlo, tengo que dormir antes de las 11 de la noche y con la panza vacía o luego de haber metabolizado la cena, que normalmente lo hago a las 8 o 9 de la noche. En los primeros tiempos lo hacía con el despertador, pero hoy día mi cuerpo se despierta automáticamente. Siempre que apoyo el primer pie en el piso, agradezco a dios por un nuevo día.
The first thing is always a glass of water with a pinch of salt while I heat the water for the first mate of the morning. With the stove on, I leave the panquequera to heat up while I put four tablespoons of oats, two eggs, a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar, a little baking powder or baking soda, and a little water in a bowl to hydrate the oats. While I stir the mixture, I drink the first few cups of mate, and when the pan is hot, I start cooking. I usually make two pancakes. One for Zuni, who is about to get up, and the other for me. To top off this delicacy, I add a little honey, which honestly makes breakfast sublime.
Lo primero siempre es un vaso de agua con una pizca de sal mientras caliento el agua para los primeros mates de la mañana. Con el fuego encendido dejo ya la panquequera calentándose, mientras coloco en un bol cuatro cucharadas de avena, dos huevos, una pizca de sal, una pizca de azúcar, un poquito de royal o bicarbonato, y un poquito de agua para que se hidrate la avena. Mientras realizo los movimientos envolventes, tomo los primeros mates y cuando está caliente la panquequera, realizo la operación. Dos panqueques normalmente. Uno para Zuni que está próximo a levantarse y el otro para mí. Para adornar la exquisitez le agrego un poquito de miel y eso sinceramente lo hace sublime al desayuno.
After finishing breakfast in front of my computer, looking at some posts from different communities and thinking about what kind of posts I will make, I start getting dressed and preparing for today's ride. By the way, on March 1, I have my first presentation in the town of Abbot, in the province of Buenos Aires. This week we are doing specific work with very high heart rates, and of course, nutrition and rest are fundamental to the results we hope to achieve.
Concluido el desayuno frente a mi computadora y mirando algunas publicaciones de diferentes comunidades y pensando qué tipo de publicaciones haré, se comienza a vestirme y a prepararme para la rodada de la fecha. Que por cierto el primero de marzo, tengo la primera presentación en la localidad de Abbot provincia de Buenos Aires. Esta semana estamos haciendo trabajos específicos con pulsaciones muy altas y por supuesto la nutrición y el descanso son parte fundamentales para los resultados que esperamos.
Today we set off in search of fortune with our friend Damián and Whass... For various reasons, only the author of these lines and the tireless Whas, who is almost 70 years old, made it there. On the way back, I passed by a little school where we usually fill our water bottles, and I forgot to take some photos because I was busy picking, without permission, a little plant that we use to flavor our daily mate, called burrito. It has a scent that reminds me of my childhood in the countryside, which is why I bring it back to share with my family.
Hoy partimos hacia la fortuna junto al amigo Damián y el Whass... Por diferente motivos solamente llegamos quién escribe estas líneas y el incansable Whas con sus casi 70 años. De regreso pasé por una escuelita de donde normalmente cargamos nuestras caramañolas y olvidé sacar algunas fotos, porque me entretuve sacando sin permiso, una plantita que usamos para condimentar nuestros mates cotidianos, qué se llama burrito. Tiene un perfume que me recuerda a mi infancia en el campo y es por eso que lo traigo para compartir con mi familia.
When I got home, I found my brother sweeping his sidewalk, and of course I left him a little burrito for his mate too. That's how I ended my training day today.
Tomorrow will be another journey, which sometimes seem similar, but the experiences are totally different.

Llegando a casa me encuentro con mi hermano que estaba barriendo su vereda y por supuesto le dejé un poquito de burrito para su mate también. Así concluí mi día de entrenamiento el día de la fecha.
Mañana será otra travesía, que en ocasiones parecen similares, pero las vivencias son totalmente diferentes.
