After a second swim this week I think I deserved a glass (or two) of this Beaujolais Nouveau. It's an over hyped wine which comes out every 3rd Thursday of November, when the first bottles of the newly produced wines go to the shops. It's more marketing than quality because a young wine from the Bourgogne region in general is not the best one and the wine for this occasion is not one of the Beaujolais "villages" which ripe a bit longer before you can find them bottled in the shop, but when you're a wine lover you should at least try it. I don't know why it took me so long to open it, it asks both for the occasion and food pairing like tortellini today or a salad (not really for winter) or certain kinds of cheese... #AliveAndThriving #alive
