Hello Hivers✌✌
Welcome to my blog.
Our little experiment to germinate our seeds faster worked well..
This trick is used for seeds with high dormancy period. Some seeds might take up to 2weeks to germinate but with this trick it might take 3-5 days, depending on the type of seeds
Once you notice the first shoot is out, its now time to transfer it to the nursery tray for proper growth and development.
Personally, for the growing medium in my nursery tray I don't soil soil quite often, I prefer using coco peat cause it retains moisture more than soil and aids root development very well for the young plant..
The coco peat is mixed with rabbit manure which is an excellent start for the plant.
The rabbit manure and the coco peat is mixed in equal proportion and put into the cells of the tray and then pressed down lightly.
The newly germinated seeds are been placed in the cell carefully not to destroy the new shoots and covered very thinly with the growing medium.
After that it should be watered generously with a sprayer so the water touches every where.
It will now be placed in our nursery site we created for proper care.
It will be watered every morning's and evenings so it won't dry out completely.
