Some highlights of the week
We often envision homesteading as growing and raising your own food, but a big part of it is also foraging and knowing about the wild foods that surround you. For the last couple of years, and his family have been stranded in Suriname. With a climate similar to their familiar Cambodia, they have been able to recognise some of the edibles growing wild around them and can supplement a meagre income with foraged items. This time it's possibly the prettiest foragable I've come across, water hyacinth.
Bee keeping can be a daunting prospect, even when it's something you want to do.
Hoesteading isn't all sunshine and bountiful crops. There is a lot of planning and reviewing that also goes into it behind the scenes.
Gluten free and dairy free Anzac biscuits? Don't mind if I do! Thank you
