You headed right to the start of the maze. You then continue for a few steps before having to make a slight adjustment to head north for a couple of steps before heading back east for a short while.

After that, you ran into a wall in the maze itself. You should be paying more attention but you were sidetracked by your wristwatch alerting you the temperature had dropped another point. You then headed south for a few steps before needing to make a choice. You could either head west or east.
