Just before departing Tokyo, I chanced upon a big stationery store - MARUZEN at Ikebukuro. Was especially impressed with the tranquility, high ceiling, natural day light at their cafe on ground floor. Definitely a conducive place to relax and read (after patronizing nearby Junkudo bookstore). They also have a massive selection of stationeries on level B1 and level 2. Wish I had more time to browse around. Never mind, goes into the list for next time. ☺️
The highlights of the cafe are of course the 3 life size train heads!
Nice and conducive environment in the cafe. And it is so empty in the morning.
Massive selection of stationeries.
They also sell some small bags.
Bar seats at level 2.
