I know what you mean! I've also found a gem here and there but most of it doesn't suit my taste at all. I actually admitted defeat after having listened through all the songs, so I didn't put myself through the voting torture.
Belgium had a good song, I can see it fitting well into a quality movie. Greece's song felt boring but the performance on the stage was the best of them all, was probably a very cool thing to see live.
