🍋Lemon Tart
Ingredients(8 servings)
- 5 medium eggs
- 150 g icing sugar
- lemon juice 100 ml (approximately 4 lemons)
- 2 tbsp. l lemon zest
- 150 ml thick cream
Dough
- 120 g unsalted butter, room temperature
- 75 g icing sugar
- 3 medium egg yolks
- 250 g sifted flour
Directions:
Dough
1. Combine butter, icing sugar and 2 egg yolks.Mix.
- Sift flour and grind into crumbs.
- Pour 2 tbsp. water.
- Knead the dough and squeeze into a ball.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.
2. Then sprinkle flour on the work surface.
- Put a lump of dough and roll into a small circle suitable for your form.
- Prepare a tart form - grease with oil and sprinkle with flour, shake off excess.
- Put the rolled dough into the mold and cut off excess on the edge of the mold.
- Pound the dough with a fork.
- Put the form with the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- Remove the form from the freezer.
- Bake 20 minutes until golden edges of the dough.
4. Lightly beat the egg yolk and grease the dough with the yolk inside.
- Put in the oven for another 1 minute at 140 ° C.
Lemon Filling
5. Prepare the filling:
- beat all the filling products until smooth.
- Pour a small portion of the filling and bake for 30-35 minutes until the filling sets.
6. Remove the lemon tart from the oven and leave for 1-2 hours to let the tart cool completely.
