I'm having a nice time entering photography challenges on Steemit the last few days, so on I go with an entry to the B&W Photo Contest hosted by
!Â
Thanks for judging the contest this week, !Â
This week's theme is food, so I have a great shot of our chefs prepping our communal dinner on earthen rocket stoves! We do all of our cooking over fire, burning discarded fence panels that would have been in a landfill if we weren't giving them new purpose and value as fuel to alchemize free meals.
I really love this shot, and it's actually super profound. This food is full on delicious and healthy of course, but also epically sustainable!
The stoves are built out of dirt by hand. The fuel is repurposed "trash" resources. That cast iron skillet is full of veggies that grow right up out of the ground for free! PLUS, it's being prepared by people who are living seriously free lives - no one has a job, no one has to wake up to an alarm, no one has to put on a uniform, no one has to tolerate coworkers they don't really like just to get a paycheck so they can feed their families. Instead, everyone is here on their own inspiration and motivation to be part of a whole new paradigm! We get to do whatever we want every single day! I want to live on a healthy planet, so I dedicate my time and skills towards a life of love and service to humanity and the Earth.
At
's revolutionary ecovillage
, we give away tens of thousands of high vibe meals like this every year. This is just how we live, because every single aspect of life here is dedicated to creating a better world for ALL!
And this meal was excellent, BTW.Â
