Hola chicos, feliz Domingo! Espero que su fin de semana haya sido de mucho descanso, lindos paseos y comida deliciosa. Por mi parte fue de bastante descanso y mucha comida rica 😋. Mi domingo en particular, estuvo lleno de un almuerzo familiar y por horas de la tarde decidimos ir a un lindo lugar del cual les hablaré el día de hoy.
Para empezar debo decir que conocí este lugar por una publicidad en mi instagram, hace meses apareció en mi inicio y desde entonces lo decidí seguir ya que me llamaba mucho la atención la manera en como preparaban estas delicias y sobre todo los sabores y toppings que usan. El lugar se llama ''Corozo frappé y Snacks'' y lo particular de esto es que sus frappés son de pura fruta, sea fresa, mango, zapote, guanábana, maracuyá, entre otros. Los topping que usan son arequipe, leche condensada, tajin (Dependiendo si el frappé es de mango) y leche en polvo que siento va excelente con la guanábana y el níspero, sus sabores varían desde dulces hasta ácidos o tropicales.
En Barranquilla este restaurante cuenta con dos sedes y también servicio a domicilio, nosotros decidimos ir a la sede del norte que queda ubicada en la cra 49C con 76 y así aprovechar que cuenta con terraza por lo que Zoe pudo acompañarnos.
Hi guys, happy Sunday! I hope your weekend was one of lots of rest, nice walks and delicious food. For my part it was plenty of rest and lots of yummy food 😋. My Sunday in particular, was filled with a family lunch and in the afternoon we decided to go to a nice place which I will tell you about today.
To start I must say that I met this place by an advertisement on my instagram, months ago it appeared in my home of instagram and since then I decided to follow it since it called my attention a lot the way they prepared these delicacies and especially the flavors and toppings they use. The place is called ''Corozo frappé and Snacks'' and the particular thing about it is that their frappés are made of pure fruit, be it strawberry, mango, sapote, soursop, passion fruit, among others. The topping they use are arequipe, condensed milk, tajin (depending if the frappé is mango) and powdered milk that I feel goes excellent with soursop and loquat, their flavors vary from sweet to sour or tropical.
In Barranquilla this restaurant has two locations and also home delivery service, we decided to go to the north location which is located on cra 49C with 76 and take advantage of the terrace so Zoe could join us.
Al llegar nos atendieron rápidamente, el mesero muy amable nos hizo entrega del menú y espero pacientemente a que eligiéramos nuestro pedido, como ya yo sabía lo que iba a pedir fue bastante rápido, me decidí por un postre de fresa frappé sencillo que tuvo un valor de $11.000 pesos Colombianos ($2.53 dólares) y Fer se decidió por un frappé tropical sencillo que tuvo un valor de $12.000 pesos Colombianos ($2.76 dólares)
Debo decir que el mío me encantó, era bastante cremoso tipo un helado pero frappé, el sabor de la fresa con la leche en polvo es una excelente combinación, tanto que me arrepiento de no haber pedido el frappé premium que traía extra de leche en polvo (ya sé para la próxima). Al probar la elección de Fer debo decir que también me gustó, me supo un poco extraño ya que tenía el sabor de mi frappé dulce, sin embargo, estaba muy rico y refrescante.
Upon arrival we were served quickly, the waiter very kindly gave us the menu and waited patiently for us to choose our order, as I already knew what I was going to order it was quite fast, I decided on a simple strawberry frappé dessert that had a value of $11,000 Colombian pesos ($2.53 dollars) and Fer decided on a simple tropical frappé that had a value of $12,000 Colombian pesos ($2.76 dollars).
I must say that I loved mine, it was quite creamy like an ice cream but frappé, the strawberry flavor with the powdered milk is an excellent combination, so much so that I regret not having ordered the premium frappé that had extra powdered milk (I know for next time). When I tasted Fer's choice I must say that I also liked it, it tasted a little strange since it had the flavor of my sweet frappé, however, it was very tasty and refreshing.
El día ha estado un poco gris debido a las lluvias que van y vienen por lo que justo estando en medio de nuestra degustación empezó a llover así que decidimos terminar nuestro postre de camino a casa (Eso es lo bueno de que era frappé) me faltó conocer la parte de adentro del lugar que según vi en instagram es muy linda, pero como íbamos con Zoe no fue posible, así que quedó para la próxima visita.

The day has been a little gray due to the rains that come and go so right in the middle of our tasting it started to rain so we decided to finish our dessert on the way home (That's the good thing it was frappé) I missed the inside of the place that I saw on instagram is very nice, but as we were with Zoe it was not possible, so it was left for the next visit.
