Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
Thursdays at the clinic can have a lot of benefits for me. I get the opportunity to work on all the paperwork and insurance billing and other odds and ends that usually get put on a back burner during normal patient days. I accomplished a lot today!
After work and a quick drive through the post office I headed home and fixed myself a lovely Irish cream mocha with whip cream. It was lovely! Then we got ready to go for a hike.
I have been told that the mosquitoes were really bad today and that was very true! They were quite hungry!Due to the time of the evening we never get to go for the full hike on my workdays so we headed on up as far as we thought we should go and then turned around and came back. However, I Actifit lamb was with us for the hike as usual. We found a pile of logs and she wanted her picture taken on that pile of logs.
Just at the base of the upper trail, there is this little miniature field of like deep purple clover. They are very pretty up close,and it is a very busy bee territory, as you can see, from these pictures.
I was able to capture the bee in flight, but unfortunately his wings were moving so fast you couldn’t see them in the picture.
Tomorrow will come soon enough and it’s another workday, but it is Friday!
