Brrrrrrrrrrrr! We woke up this morning to an indoor temperature of 55 degrees and an outside temperature of 8 degrees! Can you say brrrrrrrr!🥶🥶🥶
The fire 🔥 in the wood 🪵 stove was dead; it was too cold to turn on the heat pump as they don’t work in temps that cold, and we’d not test fired the high efficiency LP gas furnace! 😳. So, we got dressed-quickly, and set up the firing cycle on the furnace. 
After consuming coffees, I headed for the shower. Once human again, I began pacing to get some steps but also to create enough breeze to dry my hair naturally. For those who don’t know, it’s nearly 4’ long!
We needed to get to the post office 🏤 to drop a last minute gift 🎁 in the mail, so we decided to head out to get that done. We ended up in the end, back at Winco to grab a couple things as stocking stuffers. I originally had some doubt that my car would start in the cold. The battery is a factory install from when the car was purchased brand new in 2012! The indicator on the battery says ‘good’ and it’s been wonderful thus far, but 10 years on a battery is pretty much unheard of! Needless to say, she started right up!😎😎😎
Once home, I went to work on the fire. 🔥 The temperature here never made it above 13 degrees all day. I have a Wi-Fi thermometer outside that records the temperatures for the day and beyond! 🥶🥶🥶
