Chocolate treat with nuts and dates

This is another wonderful treat that left my family in awe, the entire family loved it except my immediate younger sister who hates chocolate ,
Next time, I will make both chocolate and milk, so I can satisfy everyone's taste bud,

Well that's bygone,
I got inspired by a particular treat sold in the market and that sweet was made with oat, chocolate and other ingredients(it also has the milk version)but I don't really know if there are date fruits in them,
That particular treat called oatmeal really eat my money year back around 2020 or 2021.

I would always keep some money aside from my lunch money to get that treat, the seller could recognize me anytime I show up because of my consistency in purchasing the treat lol😄.

Trying to duplicate that treat, I decided to use a maize cereal, nuts and dates instead of oats and other sweeteners (I needed something that's a little bit different),
And am glad I did because this my special combination is worth trying 😊.

Now let me quickly walk you through the lane of how I made my special recipe.

Ingredients needed

1 cup of Maize cereal
1 bar of Chocolate Chocolate
1 handful of Dates
1 handful of Groundnuts

How to prepare

This treat is very simple to make and consumed about 5 to 7 minutes.

Step 1

I removed the seeds of my dates and wash them using a clean water and then pound it to paste a d set aside

Step2

I used an already roasted groundnut, I only needed to pound my Groundnut in bits( You can blend if you wish to).

Step3

Now is time to mix everything together..

I mixed my cereal, groundnut,and dates together .
I made sure everything was mixed probably,I sprinkled some water so it can be molded .
I mold it to my desired shape and set it aside.
