Dak-Hanmari, Whole Chicken Soup & Noodle Recipe
Hey, friends, this is . I haven’t slept well these days, so my body feels so weak. When I feel really weak, I often eat Korean chicken soup because it's really healthy. I usually make Samgaetang which is chicken soup with Korean ginseng, but this time I made a little bit special one. There is a famous restaurant called Dak-Hanmari which means whole Chicken, it’s pretty similar with Samgaetang but a little bit different. It's really healthy also super yummy, it's famous food for tourists also so I’m going to show you how to make Dak-Hanmari . Let's get started.
First of all, I’m going to boil these young chicken. You can use any kind of chicken but young chicken is so much softer than others, so it's really good for the soup ;)
The original Dak-Hanmari recipe is boiling the chicken with onion, spring onion, garlic, ginger, bay leafs. But today I put Korean ginseng and some healthy Samgaetang ingredients for my health.
I also made a sauce that is really important for Dak-Hanmari. This special sauce is the big different Samgaetang and Dak-hanmari. To make the sauce mix red pepper powder, soy sauce, chopped garlic, light mustard, vinegar and at the end little bit of chicken soup together. And you can mix with some vegetables like cabbage, chives.
It's really good soft chicken with sweet and sour vegetables!!
After I finished the chicken, I made chicken noodles. This Korean noodles called Kalguksu if you can’t find this kind of noodles you can also use rice noodles.
When you're making the noodles you can add, onions, spring onions, and potatoes.
Would you like to have a bite?
You can also make chicken rice porridge with the leftover chickens. I hope you guys have a nice healthy food too! Have a nice day, thank you :)
