Tortilla Chips
INGREDIENTS
one quart oil for frying
one (12 ounce) package corn tortillas, cut into 6 wedges each
salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oil in a large, heavy pan to 375 degrees F. In small batches, fry the corn tortilla wedges till crisp. Remove from fire and drain on paper towels. Salt to taste while warm.
