Onion burgers with minced meat
Ingredients
- 450 g ground beef;
- salt - to taste;
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 2-3 cloves of garlic;
- 1 large onion;
- 100 g of cheddar cheese;
- 120 g of flour;
- 5 eggs;
- 150 g breadcrumbs;
- vegetable oil - for frying.
Preparation
Mix the forcemeat with salt, pepper and chopped garlic. You can take other seasonings to your taste. Peel the onions and cut them into rings about 1 cm thick. With your hands, separate them from each other.
In each ring put about a tablespoon of ground meat and distribute it on the onion "basket." Put on the meat a small cube of cheese and cover with another spoon of ground meat. Press the forcemeat with your hands so that it does not get out of the edge of the bow. Repeat the same with the other rings.
Roll each ring in flour, dip it into beaten eggs and roll in breadcrumbs. Then put it back in eggs and roll in breadcrumbs. Partly lay out the rings in preheated oil and fry over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
Transfer them to a paper towel to cover the fat. Serve burgers with ketchup or spicy sauce.
