Here's another easy-to-cook and photogenic meal!
You will need:
10-20g. Rice noodles
20-30 pcs (about half a kilo/ 1 pound) of clams including shells.
3-5 cloves of garlic (minced)
A thumb-sized piece of ginger (sliced into thin strips)
Sliced Gourd (optional)
2-3 Tbsp. Cooking oil
Black pepper (whole or ground)
Salt
Steps:
If you have large clams like these, consider boiling them separately in a large container first until they soften.
Saute minced garlic and ginger. Add 3-4 cups of water (or broth from boiled clams), then add the rice noodles and sliced gourd. Stir well to make sure the noodles are separated and won't cook in lumps.
Add the clams, pepper and salt (or fish sauce) to taste. Enjoy!
It takes only about 20 minutes to cook. Small clams soften more quickly.
