Cake with plums and custard
Ingredients
- 250 g of sifted flour;
- 100 g of butter;
- 350 ml + 5 tablespoons of milk;
- 4 egg yolks;
- 125 g of brown sugar;
- pinch of vanillin;
- 400 g of plum.
Preparation
Mix 200 g of flour and grated ice-cold oil. Pour 5 spoonfuls of cold milk and knead the dough.
Roll out and spread the dough over the bottom and sides of the baking dish. Put the form in the refrigerator while you are preparing the filling.
Pour 350 ml of milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, in another bowl, mix the yolks, sugar, vanillin and the remaining flour.
Stir constantly, pour hot milk into the egg mixture and cook over low heat until the cream thickens.
Distribute the custard according to the cooled test. Cut the plums with thin slices, remove the bones. Put the berries on the cream, lightly pressing them.
Bake the cake for about an hour at a temperature of 190 ° C. Before serving completely cool.
