The dried fish fillet is popular and can be found at many local supermarkets and it is a well known snacks for people at many countries.
There are many brand of dried fish snacks, for example the Dahfa, Wanfa, Sanwa, Whale brand and etc...
All these kind of dried fish fillets are manufactured from dehydrated fish meat which is typically blended with spices using hygienic and sophisticated technology under strict quality control and baked into thin sheets. Some are packaged in shredded style and some in big sheet packaging.
It is not only tasty but also nutritious, because it is rich in protein, carbohydrate and calcium. It is a chewable and easy digestible snack which contains natural goodness for the whole family.
My family and I are snacks lover. We like to enjoy our snacks while watching television program. We also like to share the snacks with friends or neighbours.
Our relatives or friends will visit our home during Chinese New Year or on certain celebration day and holidays over the year, so we must ready some homemade snacks to serve them at home.
Today, I would like to show you a new pattern of yummy homemade snack recipe by using dried fish fillet. This snack is very easy to prepare.
Fried Seaweed Fish Snacks
Ingredients
Slice dried fish fillet ∼ 1 pack
Slice Seaweed ∼ 1 pack
Egg ∼ 1 piece
Salt ∼ ½ teaspoon
Cooking oil ∼ 500g
Directions
Beat the eggs in a bowl, then add in the salt and mix it well.
Since the dried fish fillet slice is smaller than the seaweed, so cut the seaweed with scissor so that it is same size with the seaweed.
Apply the egg on top side of the dried fish fillet slice, then put the seaweed at the top of the dried fish fillet slice so that they are stick together.
Then cut the seaweed fish fillet slice into small pieces.
Boil the cooking oil in a wok, fry the seaweed dried fish slices in the wok until golden yellow color.
Take out the fried seaweed fish snacks from the wok and put on the tissue to remove the excess oil.
Wait it cool down, then keep it in air tight container. Ready to serve.
