I almost didn't go today... I didn't feel like it. I DO want to do a cool cosplay for Splinterfest 2 but man I was gassed tonight after work :(
I sat in my car after work and thought of a million reasons not to go...
But I set my mind to it... I wanted the results.
You can have results or excuses after all... I've told my clients that many times and here I am... making excuses.
I went inside, got changed, drank some BCAAs and mixed in a 1/4 scoop of preworkout for just a little buzz...
I must say - I am glad I went.
I hadn't rowed a 10k in awhile and I was feeling a bit rusty...
So I set my mind to the task and HOLY SHIT my body responded better than I thought it would!!
I was in the zone, I felt good, I controlled my breathing, kept my form in check and put up a pretty good time (I think)...

If you've never rowed a 10k... I highly recommend trying it! It's a fantastic endurance test and it's pretty easy on my knees and back (compared to running).
If you HAVE rowed a 10k... you know what you're looking at - a blistering 1:37 pace for 32:14 straight 😫
I'm going to bed now and I hope I don't wake up in the fetal position lol
