Question: I have to ask what is the main purpose of the SteemianFood Network?
SteemianFoodNetwork : Hi! First off, thanks for having me here. It truly is an honor and I'm completely flattered to be interviewed by you right now. So thanks for that!
To me the purpose is simple.
#SteemianFoodNetwork is here to provide SteemIt, with some of the best food related content that this platform has to offer. We don't want to just provide great recipes. We want to provide content with interesting stories and unique layers. We want people to have fun and be engaged. We're aiming to do that by coordinating special events to release on Steemit.
Most of all though, we want to build a sense of community. Not just any community, a strong and well connected community.
There are too many times I log on and feel like we're just a bunch of people pushing content. A lot of people are already pushing an "up-vote for up-vote" agenda. We don't want that. We want to make friends here. We want a community that adds real value to improve each other's lives. I think that we can do that through food, because who doesn't eat?
How many people are involved?
We're a small bunch but growing daily. Even though there aren't many of us now, we're hoping to grow to be a huge vibrant community. Right now, for being a small group, our diversity is great and everyone involved is absolutely brilliant. I couldn't have dreamed for a better group of people to collaborate with. Every individual has something awesome to bring to the table.
Question: I hear it’s launching today. Do you think this is going to be a big hit ?
SteemianFoodNetwork: Well, I guess we will find out won't we. Whether it is a big hit or not, I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us! We are learning how to do this better everyday. Even if it doesn't take off right away, it will. I am sooo pumped it's unbelievable. I can barely sleep at night thinking about this. Original announcement thread here.
Question: Do you see this concept breaking off into other topics?
SteemianFoodNetwork : Absolutely! We aren't just starting a food network. We have started a revolution here! This idea is going to change the game on how groups on SteemIt function. The idea of a "content army" sticking together and building each other up is amazing. We all rise up together! I think it will make SteemIt more exciting for everyone.
I actually have an upcoming series I'm going to be doing on this subject because I want to help all of the SteemIt community to learn what we did that worked, and what we could have improved. So stay tuned, and make sure to send me a follow (link to my profile here).
Question: Ok, I have to ask what is your favorite type of food?
SteemianFoodNetwork: LIKE ALL OF THEM. Seriously my inner fat-kid game is strong. It would be much easier to tell you the things I didn't like: Limburger cheese. Yep, that's about it. Right now, I'm am digging Indian food a lot.

Seriously, EVERYONE is welcome. You don't have to be a top level chef to drop in and say hi. I'm sure our content creator's would LOVE to speak with people and answer any questions they have. I know that's one of the most exciting parts for me.
