Today we bought our take away in Mon Ami outlet, UG floor Blok M Plaza - South Jakarta.
Here was the outlet
They sold many Indonesian kue basah. Like cantik manis, arem-arem, lemper, ongol-ongol.
This was kue lapis (on my hand)
Mom was confused, about choosing cheese cassava or ongol-ongol.
They also sold bread.
What we bought were
Kue Lapis (indonesian layer cake), Cheese Bluder, kue talam ubi, and also kue ongol-ongol. Kue means cake. From what we bought, only one that was bread, the others were indonesian kue basah.
The flavor of it usually sweet and also a bit savory. The bread was also so soft and savory from the cheese inside. All were delicious.
