Yesterday, i visited and had a wonderful meal at the KINABALU CLUB. it is located IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY of Kota Kinabalu, which is the capital city of Sabah, East of Malaysia.
this restaurant had a history of 40 years old since Kota Kinabalu was named Jesselton.
There were 13 of us and we ordered many food. the food that we ordered for sharing were:-
***1. Rendang Beef ***
The beef was juicy and the rendang was delicious. Not too spicy.
2. Steamed Kampong Chicken
The chicken meat was tender and chewy as it was a good quality bred of chicken. Simply eat it with the ginger sauce, the aroma of the chicken brought out deliciousness.
3. Sambal Eggplant @ Terung
i had this crazy cravings for this dish since the beginning of 2020. i find that soft eggplants cooked with sweet sambal was appetizing and yummy.
For drinks, most of them ordered honey lemon tea but i ordered a cup of kopi tarik - foamed milk in coffee.
We had a dessert too. it was a pandan cake withnoandan jelly with cream cheese on top. i couldnt stop my mouth from eating two slices of that heaven.
