To get a glimpse of the city and a sunset, if you are lucky, spend time at Oh My Gulay! We like to spend some time here because of it's location plus you get to see different art and art installations or exhibits sometimes.
Food here is simple so don't expect a lot. Oh My Gulay loosely means Oh My Vegetables. Salads and vegetable dishes are served here.
Here is a view of Harrison Road and Burnham Park and on the background is Kisad Road and Legarda Road. Look how the sun makes the trees golden and refreshing to the eyes.
We got here in time because the sun is about to set.
While waiting, we ordered vegetable salad, crepe and turon (sweetened banana wrapped and fried).
My mind was some place else but good thing I was able to get photos of the food. We did order coffee to go along with those. The food may not be perfect but the vegetables are fresh and food is prepared while you wait. The price verges on expensive because quantity and quality wise it lacks in comparison to other places who offer better food at the same price. Food here is not good or not bad either.
I love how their turon is not just turon. The presentation is a plus and they added romain and topped it with sliced of fresh apples and then topped it with caramel.
The vegetable salad is simple but the presentation is okay. Ingredients are sparingly added. Taste is okay and serving is good for one.
I like the crepe because it is not so sweet. Quantity is good for one but can be shared for two, depending on how much you can eat. The ice cream is what made it sweet.
To top off the experience, the sunset is what made it all memorable.
Oh My Gulay is located at the top floor of La Azotea Building right at the heart of the city in Session Road so it is convenient to go there. It's best to spend an afternoon there and witness a sunset on a good day.
Visit their facebook page Oh My Gulay. This is an artist cafe so every now and then they have different exhibits there. Watch out for announcements on their page. They are located at Session Road Fifth Floor La Azotea Building, Baguio City. They are open 11:00 to 9:00. There is no wifi and cash is only accepted. You can also contact them at their phone number (074) 446-0108.
