So what on earth is this fruit?

I was shopping for a music shoot for Hive account@mewnusic recently (more on this later) and found this wonderful fruit.

It is usually known by the name Buddha's hand or 佛手柑 in Chinese but never in my life, I've seen it called buah tangan.

In our national language, Bahasa Malaysia, buah tangan literary translated fruit hand but buah tangan is actually means gift or souvenir.

So what is it? This is a fruit more closely related to lemon but it does not have pulp. This fruit is used more for making perfume or offerings in a Buddhists ceremony.

Looking where I found it, perhaps it is because Chinese New Year is coming and it makes a good buah tangan.
